June Café is open again! In a renovated Nutstuin with a renewed menu you can enjoy a (take away) snack and drink. The lunch café offers daily changing, healthy and nutritious warm meals, meal salads, breakfast bowls, sandwiches, wraps. In addition, the entire coffee, tea and beverage range is served in takeaway form.
Can you improve the world with food? Juni Café thinks so! By being aware of the choices and purchases it makes, by creative, innovative cooking, by rediscovering unfamiliar and forgotten ingredients and by wasting less food. This is the vision on which the chefs at Juni Café base their wide range of alternating, no-waste, seasonal dishes. Something different, something fresh, every single day!
Juni Café works with small, local suppliers and producers with a sound background. The chefs mainly use excess vegetables, fruit and other produce sourced by Instock. The eggs are from Haagse eitjes, an environmentally aware, animal-friendly farm located close to The Hague. The drinks come from Quench, and the organic Bolivian fair trade coffee is supplied by Illimani.
But the quality and business methods of this breakfast and lunch café are not its only distinguishing features; people also love the vibe. If it’s warm, you can take your breakfast, lunch or drinks outside into one of the most beautiful settings in the centre of The Hague: the Nutshuis garden.
June Café serves alternating breakfast bowls, meal salads, hot meals, sandwiches, wraps, homemade cakes and cookies from Monday to Friday.
